RP-HC31 and RP-HC55 noise-canceling headphones
Panasonic has another set of earphones primed for introduction to the market this June, the RP-HC31 and RP-HC55 sets, which are both noise-canceling headphones.
The RP-HC31 earphone drivers are 10.7 mm with a frequency response of 8 Hz to 22,000 Hz. The amount of noise-suppression is 15 dB and the news-release page says that the impedance is 20 Ohms, which I suspect is a typo. The noise-canceling function is powered by a single AAA-cell for approximately 27 hours of use time.
The RP-HC55 earphone drivers are 9.0mm with a frequency response of 10 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The amount of noise-suppression is 18 dB and the impedance is 103 Ohms. The noise-canceling function runs of a single AAA-cell for approximately 20 hours of use time.
Both sets come with a 3.5mm gold-plated plug with cabling of 0.7m in length. Both sets will be on retail shelves beginning June 20th and the HP-HC55’s will initially cost 9,980 en and the RP-HC31’s will start at 6,980 en.
